Your 1100lb net does not accrue 30000 worth of wear and tear in one trip of travel, maybe around 1800 a day, nor does catching 8000 credits worth of fish damage the net that badly. For some one at level 7 to get from 0 credits to 5000 just to buy again a set of spinning tackle to handle these new high xp fish would break them totally. The repair bills or replacement costs would break new players totally. Trouble is if you had fish that gave that sort of experiance at lower level lakes, new players would be complaining of broken gear. it just feels like once you've past the level of a lake there's no reward for returning to it so your only ever playing a fraction of the game depending on your level. I mean you get 5000+ exp for a fish at blue crab, and 100 exp for a fish at rocky lake. That all said, it would be nice to be able to get good exp if you do choose to fish a lower level zone.
before this I was losing money and was being forced to go back to the high level lakes to farm money. I've found now it's not so bad as i'm actually making money and a small amount of exp. So now when I go to a lower level lake I only take the 1 rod i will use with a small net say 110lb and a low level vest/tackle box. When leaving I was getting hit with 30,000+ repair bills when i had only earned 8,000. I was making a mistake when going to lower level zones by this I mean I would go to rocky lake to fish for uni cutthroat and uni goldens, the problem was taking all my gear with me, I also was taking my 1100lb net. I don't like Maku Maku lake, and im insanely bored of blue crab and weeping willow. I appreciate the time taken here, I managed to find a work around for myself, I am level 58(8).
They still earn xp at lower level lakes, if they want a break, just the xp is not made as quick. The OP is bored and wants a change I can understand that, even at those lakes there are options to pleasure fish, but needs to suck it up, make a decision what goals they want to reach. It's getting incredibly boring fishing at blue crab and weeping willow.I can't fish anywhere else to progress my level because the exp and money are too low.
